The CACTUS 100 series has been in production since 2005 and has been engineered for applications that require the longest possible service life. The 100 USB Drives are built on 43nm SLC Nand Flash which is specced to provide 100,000 Read/Write operations at the block level. Combined with the Global Wear Levelling algorithm employed by CACTUS, this means that the CACTUS 100 series USB products will last for years and years and years in most applications. The “R” in the part number means that the Operating System will detect the Drive as “Removable” . The “T” in the part number means that the NAND Flash is sourced from Toshiba.
